Not on the High Street Finds

I was checking out apartment therapy's website and saw this interesting artwork by Morgan Howell (above, a bit pricey at £500). So I clicked the link and it brought me to this online store called Not on the High Street. I absolutely love window-shopping online, so imagine my excitement when I saw a lot of pretty little things that tickled my fancy!
Like this candy jar! I actually imagine this in my dentist sister's clinic because she always has candy for the kiddies. I know it sounds so wrong to be having candy in a dental office, but the kids (and adults) love them! (Candy Shoppe Jar, £31)

I absolutely love baking cookies! So it will be awesome if I can get these cookie stamps. It'll be better if you can actually customize what is written on them! (Cookie Stamp, £10)

And since I have a lot of baking ingredients at home, this will be helpful for the different flours I use. Although they should have other labels like rye flour, whole wheat, etc. (Set of 3 Porcelain, Flour Storage, £12.95)

These are gartered cotton covers for leftovers that's reusable. Much more eco-friendly than Cling Wrap and the writings on them make it easier to know what's inside each container. (Set of 6 Cotton Bowl Covers, £12.75)

This plate is so interesting! I wouldn't mind having a set of these. So kitschy and cool! (Upcycled Skull Design Vintage Side Plate, £25)

All items can be found at notonthehighstreet.com. What do you think of these items?

Chairing Up

I visited a hotel design/furniture suppliers convention last Saturday. Sadly, there wasn't too much I found interesting apart from the chairs in the photos. I really love the first one. I could imagine myself curled up in it while reading a book. I also like the last one, but I imagine it's not too comfortable to sit in.
